The area of the tennis court is computed by multiplying the dimensions given,

                               A = 120' x 80'

                               A = 9600 ift

Then, we convert the area in ft² to acres,

                       A = (9600 in²)(2.3 x 10^-5/ 1 in²)

                           A = 0.24 acre

The portion of land remaining is,

                  A of remaining = 0.25 acre - 0.24 acre

                                           = 0.1 acre

The remaining portion is for Andre's studies.

This, 0.1 ft² is equal to the 4% of the given area of the court.

The triangle below is isosceles. If ∠C≅∠B, then what is BC, in units?
ladessa [460]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

If angles C and B have equal degrees then the side AC is also equal to  side AB in length and you can make their equations equal as well and solve for X.

2x+16=7x+6

get X's all on same side and the constants all on the other side,

-2x +2x+16=7x+6+-2x

The X's on the left cancel out.

16=5x+6

-6+16=5x+6+-6

add -6 to each side.  On the right the 6 is now cancelled out.

10=5X

divide each side by 5 to cancel out the 5

10/5= 5X/5

2=X .  ANSWER

Identify the maximum or minimum value and the domain and range of the graph of the function y = 2(x – 3)2 – 4.
NISA [10]
We are given the equation y = 2(x – 3)^2 – 4 and is asked for the domain and range of the following function. In this case, there is no radical sign so the domain includes all real numbers. The range has a minimum value of -4 since the squaring makes the value on the first term positive. Hence the answer is A.

A golfer earned the following scores over several rounds of golf: −3, 2, 0, −1, 2, −4. Jamar says these numbers can all be descr
otez555 [7]

Answer:

Jamar is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

The scores are as follows :

−3, 2, 0, −1, 2, −4.

These numbers include negative, positive and 0 as well. These numbers cannot written in a fractional form. It means they are integers.

Here, amar says these numbers can all be described as integers, while Sophia says they are whole numbers.

It would mean that Amar is correct. Sophia is incorrect because she told that the are whole numbers. Whole numbers are simply number like 0,1,2,3,4....
