Hey!!

here is your answer >>>

Mean is called the average of a the numbers, which is ,

The sum of the numbers/total number of observations!.

sum = 9+6+5+3+71+8+4+2

= 108

Total number of observations, = 8

mean = 108/8

= 13.5

Now the median,

median is the middle number ,

If in case of even number of integers, we take the two middle numbers and divide it by 2, first we will have to arrange it in ascending order...

Order = 2,3,4,5,6,8,9,71...

middle two numbers are 5 and 6,

sum = 11 and then division is 5.5!.

median is 5.5 !.

(I guess instead of 71 it has to be 7,1 so, just follow the same process),

median would be ,

order = 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,

median = 5

mean =

sum = 45 observations= 9 .

45/9 is 5! .

so, the median and mean is 5!.

Hope my answer helps!

–5 + 7 – 2 = ?

–5 + 7 = 2

2 – 2 = 0

Answer: 0 ☑️

• B.

–4 * 3 = ?

“Guide”

• Negative & Negative = Positive

• Positive & Positive = Positive

• Negative & Positive = Negative

• Positive & Negative = Negative

• So, in this particular equation your answer will most likely have a NEGATIVE result because you have a NEGATIVE number & a POSITIVE number!

–4 * 3 = –12

Answer: –12 ☑️

• C.

3.5 + 4.5 = ?

5 + 5 = 10

• CARRY your 1

3 + 4 + 1 = ?

3 + 4 = 7

7 + 1 = ?

Answer: 8 ☑️

You basically had to do ORDER OF OPERATIONS / PEMDAS

(Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and Subtraction)

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!

What is the domain of the function y = 3√x
Finger [1]

Answer:

{x | x ≥ 0}

Step-by-step explanation:

We have the function, y=3\sqrt{x}.

Now, for the square root function, the values inside the square root must be positive.

Here, we have that the values of 'x' must be greater than or equal to 0.

i.e. x ≥ 0.

Hence, the domain of the function y=3\sqrt{x} is {x | x ≥ 0}.
