Well it can't be (1,2) because that comes out to be 12 not 16, and it also can't be (1,5) because that comes out to be 20, but there is a solution,  that i know of for sure which is (0, 4). So your answer would probably be t<span>here are infinitely many solutions.</span>

I need help with this problem 2(w+7)+6(3w−1)
Lubov Fominskaja [6]

Use distributive property: a(b + c) = ab + ac.

2(w + 7) + 6(3w - 1) = (2)(w) + (2)(7) + (6)(3w) + (6)(-1)

= 2w + 14 + 18w - 6

<em>combine like terms</em>

= (2w + 18w) + (14 - 6) = 20w + 8

<h3>Answer: 2(w + 7) + 6(3w - 1) = 20w + 8</h3>

Y = 5x - 10<br> Can you solve for x
tensa zangetsu [6.8K]

Answer:

x = \frac{1}{5}y + 2     or       x = \frac{y+10}{5}     (Not sure which one is preferred in your case)

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Key skills needed: Evaluating expressions</u>

1) We are given: y = 5x-10

2) To solve for the x variable, we want to leave the term with "x" by itself.

This means we add 10 to both sides

--> y + 10 = 5x (Since -10 and +10 cancel out to make 0 or nothing)

3) Then we divide by 5 on both sides to get "x" completely by itself.

-----> \frac{y+10}{5} = x

4) You can keep it as is so --> x = \frac{y + 10}{5}

or you can divide "y" by 5 and "10" by 5 and get --> x = \frac{1}{5} y + 2

(I am not sure which form is preferred one is preferred as the teacher matters)

<em>Hope you understood and have a nice day!!</em>

the base of a triangle and a parallelogram are the same length there Heights are also the same if the area of the parallelogram
Sphinxa [80]

Answer:

24

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a parallelogram is A = b*h. The area of a triangle is A = 1/2 b*h. This means if the area of the parallelogram is 48 square meters then the area of the triangle is 24 square meters.
