Because it's vital to the survival of all species, not just human, that we have resources such as food and water. Also that those resources be clean and healthy. We also need to manage resources such as oil to make sure there are fewer wars like the ones happening in the Middle East. If you need anything else just message me.

It is important to monitor and manage Earth's resources because:

By monitoring and managing the resources, we can keep track of what resources are increasing, decreasing, and so on. From this we can determine whether a resource usage needs to be restricted or what changes can be made to best preserve it while still being able to use the resource.

Here is a simple comparison example- Some animal species are monitored and some times even protected to ensure they do not become extinct.

Here is a simple comparison- In history a war called for more of Metal A to create bullets for guns, helmets, and such for our service members fighting the war. That being said, many every day items that were created with Metal A were then replaced with a different type of metal (Let's use Metal B as an example). This means the every day production of items that were made with Metal A were now being created with Metal B so that all of the Metal A resources could be put into the production of war accessories. (As previously mentioned: guns, helmets, shields, wires, etc.)

nika2105 [10]

Answer:

A. Some speculate that they were blown out to the islands by a massive storm

Explanation:

The common rosefinches are thought to have arrived on the Hawaii islands between 6 and 7 million years ago. As the common rosefinches are not big birds and they can not fly over very long distances, the scientists believe that it is a massive storm that blow some individuals to the Hawaii islands. This is nothing weird, as it has been witnessed numerous times how massive storms manage to carry some smaller birds to places where they are not able to fly on their own. Once there, the birds encountered suitable conditions for living and lot of open niches in the food chain. This resulted in quick diversification of the common rosefinches, with members of the species gradually adapting to a particular niche, experiencing changes to be more competent, and creating numerous new species after some time.

how does codominance at the molecular level help to explain why evolutionary processes haven't resulted in the elimination fo th
Yanka [14]

Answer:

here.

Explanation:

Due to the prevalence of malaria in Africa, the allele for sickle cell anemia (HbS) provides a selective advantage. That's why it remains in the population.

A normal African person (HbAHbA), with normal haemoglobin, will not die of anemia, but will die of malaria.

An African person with sickle cell anemia (HbSHbS), with abnormal haemoglobin, will die of anemia.

A heterozygous African person (HbAHbS), with half of his red blood cells (RBCs) being normal and the other half being sickle-shaped, will neither die from anemia, nor malaria since the plasmodium will be incapable of completing its life cycle in the abnormal RBCs.

Thus heterozygous African people will grow, reproduce and pass on the HbS allele to the next generations.
