An energy pyramid is composed of oak trees, rabbits, snakes, and eagles. The producers receive 100% of the total energy from the
sun and have a total biomass of 30,000 kg. As you move up the energy pyramid, the biomass for each tropic level decreases 10%. What claim can be made about the biomass in this ecosystem?
If the oak trees that receive the energy from the sun are the primary producers in this energy pyramid. They, therefore, enter the food chain with 30, 000 kg biomass – the highest biomass. They have the highest biomass because passing this biomass up the food chain is inefficient. Only 10% is pass up with the rest being lost in the environment in other forms of energy but mostly as heat energy.
Because fungi dont live off of sunlight the are under the class of decomposes which means that they grow off of dead things getting nutrients from that
Stole the image from the question directly above yours. 50% of the offspring are heterozygous (Aa) and red. The other 50% are homozygous recessive (aa) and white.
