Answer:

The answer is A

Step-by-step explanation:

First I found the average for the whole thing. . .

So add all the numbers; 12 + 14 + 17 + 23 + 25 + 30 + 32 + 37 + 38 + 40 +41 = 309.

Divide 309 to 11 (bc there is 11 numbers in total)

309/11= 28.0909090909 and that will be almost equal to 28, (28 is ur average, and it will be in the middle of the box inside.)

So, eliminate B, C, and D.

You are left with A and B

To find the lower quartile, you need to add 12 all the way to 27; 12+13+14+15+16+17+18+19+20. . . etc . . . and u will get 312.

Divide 312 to 16 (bc u have the total of 16 numbers from 12 to 27) you will get 19.5.

19.5 is closest to 20 so ur lower quartile is 20.

In a class of 28 pupils, if 12 are females. Calculate the ratio of males : total
tensa zangetsu [6.8K]

Answer:

16 : 28

Step-by-step explanation:

If 12 out of the 28 pupils are female, we can calculate the number of males by subtracting the number of females from the total number of pupils.

28 - 12 = 16

So, there are 16 males in the class. Now, we know that the ratio of males : total is 16 : 28.

I hope this helps! Have a lovely day!! :)

Geometry math thanks if you help
baherus [9]

Answer: Option B.

Step-by-step explanation:

For this exercise it is important to remember that, by definition, a relation is a function if and only if each input value has an unique output value.

The input values are the values of the variable "x" and the output values are the values of the variable "y".

You can observe in the table shown in the picture, that the input value -2 has two different output values:

x=-2,y=3\\\\x=-2,y=-13

Notice that the input vale -1 has two different output values too:

x=-1,y=-1\\\\x=-1,y=-9

Therefore, based on this, you can conclude that the information given in the table is a relation but not a function.
