Answer:

It is from the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Because of this amendment, the voting rights of women are protected because a prior related amendment failed to include gender.

Explanation:

This text comes from the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. This amendment was a step forward when it came to protecting the rights of women. The Amendment prohibited the states, as well as the federal government from denying citizens the right to vote based on their sex.  This is one of the most important amendments when it comes to the universality of civil rights in the United States.

What was the works project administration
Lesechka [4]
“The Works Project Administration (WPA) was an ambitious employment and infrastructure program created by President Roosevelt in 1935, during the bleakest years of the Great Depression. Over its eight years of existence, the WPA put roughly 8.5 million Americans to work. Perhaps best known for its public works projects, the WPA also sponsored projects in the arts - the agency employed tens of thousands of actors, musicians, writers and other artists.”

In 1932 which group marched on Washington demanding a promised payment
aleksley [76]

Answer:

Bonus Army

Explanation:

It was during the Great Depresssions and the WWI veterans were promised a sum of money for fighting in the war. In the depression, money was needed by quite a few people so the bonus army began a march on washington to get the money for fighting in the war, that they deserved. Eventually, the march was unsuccessful and when the veterans returned to their camp, a while later, General MacArthur (I think) came and obliterated the camp.
