Answer:

d) provide minimal benefits for treating PTSD.

Explanation:

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a type of anxiety perceived in people who have been victims or who have witnessed acts of extreme violence. These acts end up causing psychic, physical and emotional changes in people to the point that they are unable to live a normal life and need psychiatric monitoring.

In many situations, PTSD victims need to treat this disorder with the use of medications. However, the drugs used to treat PTSD provide minimal benefits for the treatment of PTSD. This is because people with this disorder are in a constant state of stress, feel that they are threatened at all times, making them always ready to fight or flee. Medicines suppress these sensations, causing mental wear and tear in individuals, which can make them apathetic, depressive.

2. To transport water to the entire plant, especially the leaves where photosynthesis takes place. This is important because water is required for photosynthesis to take place.

3. Chlorophyll.

4. The palisade layer contains the most chloroplasts.

5. The function of the stomata is to allow gas exchange to facilitate photosynthesis. It also controls the rate of photosynthesis to regulate water use of the plant. Without it, plant would have severely hindered transpiration, causing the plant to die.

6. Chloroplasts are where photosynthesis takes place. Without chloroplasts, no synthesis would happen.

7. A leaf from a desert plant would likely have less stomata to conserve water content in the plant from evaporation due to environmental factors. This is because water escapes to the environment when stomata are open in plants. The contrary would be the case for plants in a tropical environment where water is more abundant and sunlight is more lacking.
