for 2a, use the theorems of geometry and such to look at the area of the square as 16 squares total, then use the lengths and Sim/cos rule for the triangular area, then subtract and you have you shaded area.

Do the formula length times width times height.

Then, round like you normally would!

And for the second one, just multiply 2.5 x 6!

The group of points {(0, 1), (0, 5), (2, 6), (3, 3)} is not a function, but the group of points {(1, 4), (2, 7), (3, 1), (5, 7)}
fomenos

{(0, 1), (0, 5), (2, 6), (3, 3)} is not a function because zero is repeated in (0, 1),(0, 5)

While

{(1, 4), (2, 7), (3, 1), (5, 7)} is a function because there is no repetition in domain i.e. first element of each ordered pair is unique.

Step-by-step explanation:

To decide whether a relation is a function or not, the first elements of each ordered pair (domain) are observed.  In order for a relation to be a function, there should be no repetition in first elements of each ordered pair.

In the given group of points:

{(0, 1), (0, 5), (2, 6), (3, 3)} is not a function because zero is repeated in (0, 1),(0, 5)

While

{(1, 4), (2, 7), (3, 1), (5, 7)} is a function because there is no repetition in domain i.e. first element of each ordered pair is unique.

An isosceles triangle has exactly two sides that are equal in length (congruent). If the base (the third side) measures 46 in
alexira [117]

Answer:

36.5 Inches

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeter of the triangle is the sum of all three(3) sides.

let the length of one congruent side be 'a', Therefore;

a + a  + 46 = 119

2a = 119 - 46

a = 73/2

a = 36.5 inches.

Calculate the area of this parallelogram.
Vadim26 [7]

Answer:

The answer to your question is Area = 34.8 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

base = 6 m

height = 5 m

Formula

To get the area of a parallelogram, use the same formula that to calculate the area of a rectangle.

Area = base x height

Substitution

Area = 6 x 5.8

Simplification and result

Area = 34.8 m²
