____ HBr + ____ Mg(OH)2 ---> ____ MgBr2 + ____ H2O
swat32
Hello Camkirkland,
I think that you are trying to balance this equation.
In order to balance a chemical equation, the numbers of atoms of each element must be equal on both sides of the equation.

In this particular equation, the answer would be (2) HBr + (1) Mg(OH)2 ---> (1) MgBr2 + (2) H2O.

Hope this answers your question!

What do chemists think is the best measurement of concentration for describing the concentration of a solid solute dissolved in
lara31 [8.8K]

Answer:

Molarity.

Explanation:

 • The molarity (M) of a solution is defined as the no. of moles of solute that dissolved in 1.0 liter of the solution.

M = (mass / molar mass) of the solute (1000 / volume of the solution).

So, the best measurement of concentration for describing the concentration of a solid solute dissolved in one liter of a liquid solution is Molarity.
