If the area of the yard is 3a^2 and is also 7,500^2 then 3a^2=7,500^2

So we want to find what A is not 3a^2.

3a^2=7,500^2 now we square root both sides
3a=7,500 now we divide both sides by 3
a=2,500

And there you go a=2,500

Find the circumference of a circle with an area of 28.26.<br> Show work please.
muminat

Answer:

18.84

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the formula for circumference is C=2\pi r, we need to first find the radius. The formula for the radius is r=\frac{\sqrt{A\pi } }{\pi }, so we will get r=3. Substitute that into C=2\pi r, and we get C=18.84. Hope this helps!

Find the distance between points p(2,2) q(7,4) to the nearest tenth
Greeley [361]
If you know the horizontal distances between the two points is a positive 5, and the vertical distance is a positive 2. By using the distance formula, you can come up with sqrt(5^2+2^2) = <span>5.38516480713, which to the nearest tenth would be 5.4</span>

Find the distance between points (0,-8) and (3,-2)
kompoz [17]

\bf~~~~~~~~~~~~\textit{distance between 2 points} \\\\ (\stackrel{x_1}{0}~,~\stackrel{y_1}{-8})\qquad (\stackrel{x_2}{3}~,~\stackrel{y_2}{-2})\qquad \qquad d = \sqrt{( x_2- x_1)^2 + ( y_2- y_1)^2} \\\\\\ d=\sqrt{[3-0]^2+[-2-(-8)]^2}\implies d=\sqrt{(3-0)^2+(-2+8)^2} \\\\\\ d=\sqrt{3^2+6^2}\implies d = \sqrt{9+36}\implies d=\sqrt{45}\implies d\approx 6.71
