After the Treaty of Versailles the armed forces of Germany was reduced in order to avoid future conflicts but instead to prevent another world war it becomes one of the reason of bitterness of the German people that was one of major causes of World War 2 and paved way to the Nazi Germany of Adolf Hitler.
