The genre is a characteristics of the text; for example Drama, Epic, Novel, Satire are all genres. A short story is also a genre: so a genre can also for example be distinguished by length.

But the most general way of describing genre is it's general traits, for example in comparison to other works, so the correct answer is traits it has in common with other works

The moon has a higher maximum surface temperature compared to Earth (253 degrees of moon to 136 degrees of Earth), but this also depends on night (which is colder) or day (which is hotter).

The moon has such extreme temperatures because it has no atmosphere that can "reflect" some of the heat from the sun, whereas the earth does.

What are the two types of modern wind turbines?
vodomira [7]
There are two types of modern wind turbines. In a Verical-axis wind turbines (VAWTs), the shaft is mounted on a vertical axis perpendicular to the ground. They are aligned with the wind so there’s no adjustment necessary when the wind direction changes. It can’t start moving on itself that is why it needs a boost from its electrical system to get started. It uses wires for support so the rotor elevation is lower. They are less efficient than HAWTs due to its lower elevation. Lower elevation means slower wind due to ground interferences. The other type is Horizontal-axis wind turbines (HAWTs), the shaft s mounted horizontally parallel to the ground. It is constantly aligned with the wind using a yaw-adjustment mechanism. This mechanism moves the entire rotor left or right in small increments. It uses a tower to lift the turbine components to an optimum elevation for wind speed and take up very little ground space. It is much more efficient than VAWT.
