The tools used by marine scientists to make observations about oceans and marine organisms are Remote Operated vehicle (ROV), Automated untethered Vehicle (AUVs), Global positioning system (GPS) and Human-occupied vehicle (HOV).

Further Explanation

ROV mean Remote operated vehicle which allows marine scientists to explore the ocean without necessary being in the ocean. Remote Operated Vehicle is a robot that is controlled by a person on the ship.

It is connected to the ship and the person that controls it uses joystick, which is similar to how we play a video game. It has a still camera, video camera and lights used to transmit videos and images back to the ship.

Automated untethered vehicles (AUVs) are untethered, unmanned vehicles that are used by marine scientists to conduct underwater research. Through Micromodem, an operator controlled computer passes information or command to AUVs in regards to when, where and what they sample. AUVs use different types of equipment for surveying and sampling such as sonar, camera and depth sensors.

Global positioning system (GPS) receiver is a navigation system that is used to show the location of the ship. GPS provides accurate navigation information for marine scientists.

Human occupied vehicle (HOV) also known as manned submersibles have the capacity to reach the full-depth of the ocean. It is used by marine scientists to carry out geophysical, geochemical, and biological studies, viewing and sampling of organism.

It has high quality video imaging system and can produce 3-D movies. It also has sophisticated syntactic foam.

The marine scientist uses tools like remote operated vehicle, which is an underwater mobile device that is used for navigation of the vehicle. A number of cables are attached that are connected to a ship, and through these cable commands are transmitted.

Autonomous underwater vehicle is used for underwater surveys ( it can be used for detecting and mapping submerged rocks and obstructions that can be dangerous.)

GPS a satellite navigation that is a tool used to provide location and time.

Whilst HOV is used in order to make explorations in the deepest water of the sea.

Three of the most prominent definitions of species are the biological species concept, the phylogenetic species concept, and the
soldier1979 [14.2K]
We must first define these three prominent definitions of species. Biological species concept means that organisms resemble each other because of genes being passed from parent to offspring. Phylogenetic species concept means that organisms resemble each other because they evolved from a common ancestor. Lastly, morphological species concept characterizes species on the structure of their body parts rather than genetic or phylogeny.

In this case, (1) biological species concept is not applicable for extinct species, (2) phylogenetic species concept is based on evolutionary history, (3) morphological species concept relies on similarities in structure, (4) Morphological and phylogenetic species concept accommodates asexual reproduction, and lastly (5) all species concepts are used by scientists in classification.

Jealous can spark?

all of the above
passion
worry
excitement
goblinko [34]

Answer:

All of the above.

Explanation:

Jealousy is the emotional state of feeling jealous. This is more of a negative aspect rather than a positive one, but can also sometimes be a positive aspect in a relationship.

Jealousy incites the person to have negative feelings like anxiousness, wrath, anger, possessiveness, excitement, etc. But it can also lead to an increase in the passionate feelings for the other person, which can make the individual pay more attention to the other person. In this aspect, it becomes a positive thing.

Thus, the correct answer is all of the above.

Which of the following describes a relationship of mutualism?
Reika [66]
 • Oxpecker birds eat parasitic ticks off the backs of zebras is an example of mutualism.
 • Mutualism is defined as a relationship between organisms in which both the individuals involved are benefitted from each other.
 • In the case of oxpecker birds and zebras, the oxpecker birds benefit as they get their food from the parasitic ticks living on the zebra and the zebras benefit as the birds help them to get rid of the parasites.
 • In this way, both these organisms are involved in a mutualistic relationship.
