Answer: 0.097\text{\ J/s}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :  1 calorie= 4.184 joules

A food calorie = 1000 calories = 4184 joules.

Then, 2000 food = 2\times4184=8368 joules   [By Unitary method]

We know that : \text{Power}=\dfrac{\text{Energy}}{\text{Time}}

Since 1 day = 24 hours

and 1 hour = 3600 seconds

Then, 24 hours = 24\cdot3600=86400 seconds.

Now,   \text{Power}=\dfrac{8368}{86400}

=0.0968518518519\approx0.097\text{\ J/s}

Hence, the average power of this intake = 0.097\text{\ J/s}

Find an equation for the line below.<br><br><br> will give brainiest
pogonyaev

Answer: y=-\frac{x}{2}-6.5

Step-by-step explanation:

First find slope m. From observing the equation we can see that there are two points on the line. They are (-5,-4) and (-1,-6). Using the formula to find slope rise/run we get m = -0.5.

Now we use the point-slope formula to start the switch to the slope-intercept formula. Using (-1,-6) as our x and y values and switching m=-0.5 we get y + 6 = -0.5 ( x + 1). Simplify and we get y + 6 = -x/2 - -0.5. Subtract 6 from both sides and the final equation is y = -x/2 - 6.5.

Lines that are not in the same plane are called lines O A. transversal O B. parallel O c. skew O D. perpendicular
Tpy6a [65]

Answer:

your answer is C.

Lines that are not coplanar and do not intersect are called skew lines.

and incase you need this answer too, Parallel Planes. Two planes that do not intersect are called parallel planes.

What is the approximate perimeter of a semicircle with a radius of 8 m? Use pi star times = 3.14. Express your final answer to t
irga5000 [103]
The perimeter of a semicircle consists of two parts. (the curve and bottom)
That curve is half the distance around the circle, since it's been split in half.
The distance around a circle, the circumfrence, is equal to 2πr, where r is the radius of that circle. In this case, the circumfrence of the entire circle would be 16π. and so that curve would have a length of just 8π.
Using 3.14 for π, 8π = 8×3.14 = 25.12.
As for the flat part, that is the diameter (distance across) our circle.
The radius is the distance from the center of a circle to its edge, and always has half the length of the diameter. (you can break the diameter down into two radii)
If our radius is 8 meters, our diameter (the flat part of that semicircle) must be 16.
Now we add up the two parts of the perimeter...25.12 + 16 = 41.12.

Louis used a quadratic equation to model the height, y, of a falling object x seconds after it is dropped. which ordered pair ge
n200080 [17]

Let's consider what the x and y values represent. x represents the time at which an object is moving in relation to its height represented by y. So, we already know a restriction on y, y >= 0.

Now, let's consider each case of scenarios.

For A) the time of a falling object is -4 in relation to it being dropped at a height of 1 means the falling object is traveling back in time. But that doesn't really make any sense at all. How does an object travel back in time?

B, C and D are all valid because they fit the domain and range. In essence, they make sense.
