Answer:

labor force participation rate = 61.28 %

Explanation:

given data

adult population = 250 million

unemployment = 10.4 million

employment = 142.8 million

marginally attached workers = .8 million

to find out

labor force participation rate

solution

we know that labor force participation rate is equal to  100 × labor force (no of people employed + no of people unemployed) and  divided by the adult non institutionalized population

so here

labor force participation rate = 100 × \frac{142.8 + 10.4}{250}

labor force participation rate = 61.28 %

What significance does the contemporary concept of prisoner reentry hold for today’s corrections administrators? For society? Ho
Oksanka [162]

Answer:

Prisoner reentry is a program made of offenders (incarcerated individual) whereby they are assisted with a successful transition to their community after they are released. The significance of this is that, it encourages the integration of the offender into the socety inorder to contribute in the growth of the community rather than going back to the life of crime.

On the otherhand, it helps the society towards drastic reduction of the number of people incarcerated in prisons thereby promoting the rehabilitation and bahavioural corrections for which the prison is meant for.

<em>The prisoner reentry differs from parole in that, in reentry, the offender is truely free to integerate into the society whereas in parole, the offender has a stipulated time frame upon which his good behaviour while being integerated in the society is mandatory. If he goes contrary against the expected behaviour, he would be thrown into prison to continue his sentences.</em>

When a parent tells you not to study economics because it is a pointless discipline, why is he or she incorrect?'?
lesantik [10]
The answer is "<span>There are not enough resources to produce all the goods and services that are wanted and needed."

There are insufficient assets to create all the goods and services  that are needed and required. Economics is the investigation of how social orders, governments, organizations, families, and people assign their rare assets.
