Answer:

ok since there are mixed numbers were going to have to turn them into whole numbers : all we have to do is multiply the denominator by the mix number and then add it to the numerator but then the denominator stays the same exp: 2 3/4 = (4 x 2) + 3  =  11/4

1) 6 5/6s = 14 5/8

41/6s = 117/8

s = 117/8 x 6/41

s= 702/328

s= 351/154      (its bc we reduced the fraction by dividing it by 2)

2) b + 21 3/8 = 4/7

b + 171/8 = 4/7

b = 4/7 - 171/8

b = 32/56 - 1197/56

b = -1165/56

3) k - 23 5/8 = 1 3/8

k - 189/8 = 11/8

k = 11/8 + 189/8

k = 200/8

k = 25

4) f - 11 4/9 = -23

f - 103/9 = -23

f = -23 + 103/9

f = -207/9 + 103/9

f = -104/9

5) z - 2/7 = 6

z = 6+2/7

z = 42/7 + 2/7

z = 44/7

6) 5/6x = 8

x = 8/1 x 6/5

x = 48/5

7) 24 1/6 = -17 3/7 + h

122/7 = 145/6 + h

122/7 + 145/6 = h

732/42 + 1015/42 = h

1747/42 = h

8) 18 2/7 = 26 5/8a

128/7 = 213/8a

a213/8 = 128/7

a = 128/7 x 8/213

a = 1024/1491

9) 2/3 = -7/9 + v

7/9 + 2/3 = v

21/27 + 18/27 = v

39/27 = v

10) 1/7 = n + 5/6

-35/42 + 6/42

-29/42 = n
