Solution:

we have been asked to find Which note represents the total in beats of the given rhythmic values?

As we know that mathematical values for the given notes as they appear in the sequences are respectively  \frac{1}{2}  ,  \frac{1}{8} , \frac{1}{8} ,  \frac{1}{2} , \frac{1}{4}

Now we will put together as they are appearing in the given problem as below

\frac{1}{2}  +  \frac{1}{8} + \frac{1}{8} +  \frac{1}{2} - \frac{1}{4}=1

The simplified value is 1.

So the answer will be a complete note.

Hence the correct option is third one.

A cab company charges $0.80 per mile plus $2 for tolls. Melissa has at most $16 to spend on her cab fare. Write and solve an ine
Anna35 [415]

Answer:

The maximum distance is 17.5 miles

No she can't make to the airport.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the cab charges $0.8 per mile and $2 for tolls.

let the miles travelled by melissa be x.

The total charge is $(0.8*x+2)

Now given that she can spend a maximum of $16

so the inequality is

0.8*x+2\leq 16

0.8*x\leq 14

x\leq \frac{14}{0.8}

x\leq 17.5

Therefore the maximum distance she can travel is 17.5 miles

Since the distance to airport is 25 miles which is greater than 17.5 miles she cannot afford the cab.

Kassie recorded the favorite sport of students at her school. She surveyed 800 students. How many more students chose Baseball t
lisov135 [29]

Answer:

40 more kids chose baseball over basketball.

Step-by-step explanation:

The best way to go about this is to use benchmark percentages.

For baseball, 25% of 800 people chose that, so we can do 800/4 to get 200, so 200 students chose baseball

For basketball, we could do 800/5 but that isn't mental math, so we can do 10% of 800 is 80 and 80*2=160. So 40 more kids chose baseball over basketball.

erica [24]

Step-by-step explanation:

Nicole starts with the budget:

$395

Now, she only expects to pay half the deposit;

$72 ÷ 2 = $36

Subtract this from the budget:

$395 - $36 = $359

Divide by cost per hour:

$359 ÷ $60 = 5.983333... (3 repeating)

This means, Nicole can rent a <em>maximum</em><em> </em>of 5 hours with her budget. The inequality would be

x  \leqslant 5
