Answer:

A. Decomposing water requires a high activation energy.

Explanation:

The leftovers of the division of the molecule of water would be Hydrogen that would be used as fuel, and oxygen which is necessary and its benefical for humans, so there would be no toxical residuals, and the residuals could be thrown to the air, so the most challenging thing that the scientist would face would be the fact that the molecule of water has a really strong bond between the oxygen and the two atoms of hydrogen, so it requires a really high activation energy.

A challenge scientists face with this process is the use of ultrathin iron oxide, to pull protons off water and produce hydrogen gas, which itself is a poor electrical conductor.

You are driving in a car for 30 minutes, with the windows down and the radio at a high volume. You turn the car off and leave th
matrenka [14]

Answer:

sensory adaption

Explanation:

Sensory adaption is the phenomenon where the intensity of a stimulus experienced by an organism decreases after a certain amount of exposure to the stimulus. This happens in order for us to pay attention to other stimulus.

When you are driving with the windows down and listening to music you are subjected to a lot of stimuli. Here, most of our attention needs to be on driving. So, our brain drowns all the other unneccessary stimuli like the music.

When you enter the car again where the other stimuli which were present while driving are absent, all your attention is diverted to the music. So, your're ears hurt.

The triceps muscle in the back of the upper arm is primarily used to extend the forearm. Suppose this muscle in a professional b
taurus [48]

Answer:

I = 0.483 kgm^2

Explanation:

To know what is the moment of inertia I of the boxer's forearm you use the following formula:

\tau=I\alpha  (1)

τ: torque exerted by the forearm

I: moment of inertia

α: angular acceleration = 125 rad/s^2

You calculate the torque by using the information about the force (1.95*10^3 N) and the lever arm (3.1 cm = 0.031m)

\tau=Fr=(1.95*10^3N)(0.031m)=60.45J

Next, you replace this value of τ in the equation (1) and solve for I:

I=\frac{\tau}{\alpha}=\frac{60.45Kgm^2/s ^2}{125rad/s^2}=0.483 kgm^2

hence, the moment of inertia of the forearm is 0.483 kgm^2
