Answer: Let's call Vt and Ve to bout velocities.

you know that Vt>Ve and that Vt - Ve=5

so Vt = 5 + Ve.

and you can check that Vt is 5 miles per hour greater than Ve.

So if you know the vale of Vt or the value of Ve, with that equation you can obtain the other velocity.

Let the speed of El Toro be x mph and that of T Express be y mph.

Given : Speed of El Toro > Speed of T Express

i.e, x > y

Also, the difference in the speeds of El Toro and T Express is 5 mph.

So, the required equation is

x - y = 5

To determine the speed of a train, the speed of other is required.

The speed of El Toro = Speed of T Express + 5

The speed of T Express = Speed of El Toro - 5

What is the compounded interest if $410 is invested for 10 years at 8% compounded continuously
tatiyna
\bf \textit{Continuous Compounding Amount}\\\\
A=Pe^{rt}\qquad \begin{cases}
A=\textit{accumulated amount}\\
P=\textit{original amount deposited}\to& \$410\\
r=rate\to 8\%\to \frac{8}{100}\to &0.08\\
t=years\to &10
\end{cases}

so, that gives you  the compounded amount, after 10 years, if you want to know how much interest was earned? well, just subtract the Principal from the Amount, or A - P  <--- that's how much interest was earned

Solve K = 1/2 mv^2 for m
Dahasolnce [82]

Answer:m=2k/v^2

Step-by-step explanation:

The first thing you should do is divide 1/2 on both sides. Now you have 2k=mv^2. Then divide v^2 from each side and you get a final answer of (2k/v^2)=m
