There are several differences between these two titles but let's look at some of the most important ones, such as the difference between boys and girls.

Explanation:

 In both cases we can observe initiation rituals. But the difference is that one shows the ritual of the boys and the other of the girls.

The rituals are totally different, since that of the boys is more private, while the girl is subjected to different stages that put her to the test.

The big difference is that in the culture expressed in <em>Apache Girl's Rite of Passage</em> we observe the transition from a growing girl until she becomes a woman, and in <em>The Medicine Bag</em> the growth of the child refers more to maturity, since said bag It must be given to the oldest man in the family.
