What is x over 2+ 4<7

Mathematics
1 answer:
N76 [4]3 years ago
4 0
 x/2 + 4 < 7

multiply both sides by 2
x/2 * 2 + 4 * 2 < 7 * 2
which equals
x + 8 < 14
subtract 8 from both sides
x + 8 - 8 < 14 - 8
x < 6
