The only grab function is 2 because 1 and 3 don’t even make sense it’s not a negative slope, positive slope, undefined slope, or zero slope therefore it’s nothing.

Answer:

\left\{        \begin{array}{ll} a+s+r=350 \\      4a+2.5s+2r=1095\\r=s-40        \end{array}    \right.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's define our variables. Let a represent the number of adult tickets sold, s represent the number of senior tickets sold, and r represent the number of senior tickets sold.

We know that a total of 350 tickets were sold. So, the number of adult, student, and senior tickets sold must total 350. Therefore, we can write the following equation:

a+s+r=350

We know that each adult ticket costs $4, each student ticket costs $2.50, and each senior ticket costs $2. We are given that a total of $1095 was collected. Therefore, the number of tickets multiplied by their respective price must equal $1095. So, we can write the following equation:

4a+2.5s+2r=1095

Finally, we know that 40 fewer senior tickets were sold than student tickets. So, however many students tickets were sold, we can subtract 40 to get the number of senior tickets sold. Therefore:

r=s-40

So, our system of equations is:

\left\{        \begin{array}{ll} a+s+r=350 \\      4a+2.5s+2r=1095\\r=s-40        \end{array}    \right.

And we're done!

Given
2log_x(25)-3log_{25}(x)=1

first, convert 2log_x(25) to base 25 to match the other term.
2log_x(25)
=2log_{25}(25)/log_{25}(x)
=2*1/log_{25}(x)

Substitute above identity into original equation:
2/log_{25}(x)-3log_{25}(x)=1

Use substiution u=log_{25}(x)
above equation becomes
2/u-3u=1
multiply by u and solve for u:
3u^2+u-2=0
=> u=2/3 or u=-1

case A:. u=2/3 =>
log_{25}(x)=2/3 => 25^{2/3}=x  =>
x=25^{2/3} =8.54987973338348 (approx.)

case B: u=-1 =>
log_25(x)=-1
which does not give a real solution, so reject.

See graph below for confirmation of solution.

Step-by-step explanation:

# Area of painting = 20 × 16

# Area of combination = 25 × 20

.°. Area of frame = Area of combination - Area of painting

= (25×20)-(20×16)

=20 (25-16)

=20 × 9

= 180 {cm}^{2}
