Answer:

D. Save you breathe, Mr. Scrooge. You can't be seen or heard.

Explanation:

The apparition of Scrooge's dead accomplice, Marley, visits him. Marley is wearing chains and is sentenced to hopelessness in existence in the wake of death in the wake of neglecting to do anything useful for mankind.

The Ghost of Christmas Past visits Scrooge and takes him on a voyage through Scrooge's youth, helping him to remember the sister he adored and those he has baffled with his absence of sympathy.

The Ghost of Christmas Present shows Scrooge the homes of his agent and his nephew, where toasts are made to Scrooge's wellbeing and families commend the season, notwithstanding their poverty.

What was the Chinese man’s “getting-caught” story ?
OLga [1]

Answer: A man who spent nearly three years in a Chinese prison after getting caught up in a bar fight while working overseas as a football coach is now back home in Detroit.

Wendell Brown was convicted and given a lengthy sentence that his lawyer said was excessive.

Brown won his freedom from a Chinese prison after being held for three years for a bar fight he said he didn't start and wasn't responsible for.

He said he was throwing up his hands in self-defense, but the Chinese government charged him with what amounts to criminal assault.

Brown said after pleas from family members, friends, the State Department and the state of Michigan, he was released a year early.

The hardest part of the last three years was not having any verbal contact with his family, Brown said. His only phone call was to his dying grandfather.

On Wednesday, Brown was filled with gratitude as he stood on U.S. soil as a free man.

ss7ja [257]
This excerpt is lonely and mysterious. It is lonely because it sounds like the one speaking is locking their soul or internal feelings into a place of their own, a place of solitude. The mystery comes in because one must slow down and explore their own heart and thoughts. What exactly is it we are looking for inside ourselves?
