Of the following given choices;

A. mineral rock formation

B. mineral crystal formation

C. mineral metamorphosis

D. mineral crystal mining

The answer is; A.

As the water dissolves the soluble minerals in the rocks and travels in cracks and caves, the water slowly evaporates and become saturated. When super saturated, crystals begin to form in the water. Since the waters are mainly undisturbed, and evaporation is slow, the crystals grow to become large over time.
