When preparing a wet mount, you must contact the edge of the coverslip to the liquid containing the specimen, then gently ______
Lena [83]

Answer:

Lower the coverslip onto the specimen

Explanation:

The slides and coverslips are used in microscopy to facilitate sample visualization in the equipment. The microscope is used to observe various structures, morphology and physiology of organisms. The slides and coverslips act as the support for the preparation of the biological sample, allowing various microorganisms or structures to be visualized and thus some biological processes and some causes of disease can be identified.

Most microscopic urinary sediment examinations are performed using wet, lamina and coverslip mounts in a bright field. Other exams can also be done using wet mounting, the important thing is that regardless of the exam you should contact the edge of the coverslip with the liquid containing the sample and then gently lower the coverslip over the sample.
