You have responded to a report of an abrupt collapse of a middle-aged man at a local office building. Your BLS assessment shows
the man is unresponsive, not breathing normally, and has no carotid pulse. This condition is most likely caused by and treated with: a) respiratory arrest; rescue breaths, recovery position
b) secondary cardiac arrest; CPR, effect rescue breaths
c) sudden cardiac arrest; CPR, defibrillation
d) altered mental status; recovery position, monitor breathing
This condition man is due to cardiac arrest and the treatment that could have been done is CPR and then defibrillation.
The cardiac arrest can be defined as the condition by which there is a abrupt loss of heart function who may or may not be diagnosed with heart disease.
It can be fatal if not cured properly and immediately. It can be cured by providing CPR and defibrillation which cure this problem.
I believe it could be answer A. Because when you are stabbed, it does alert your body. But also it could be answer D because you’re body does try to fight the bacteria.
Not much help sorry, I also could be completely wrong. Good luck
