Solution:

1. Total time for which Rick worked = 49 hours

→Amount got by Rick by working for 49 hours = $13.40 per hour for 40 hours + Overtime for (49-40) hours

→Amount got by Rick by working for 49 hours = $40 × 13.40 +  Overtime for  9 hours=  $536 + Some Amount

= Option (D) $ 716.90 is correct choice as gross pay of Rick.

2. Weekly salary of Maratha = $ 1428

Commission = 4 %

So, gross income = 1428 ×( 1 + \frac{4}{100})

                =  1428 × 1.04

               = 1485. 12 →→Option (A)

1/2 of the children at a party like chocolate ice cream, 2/3 like vanilla ice cream, and 1/3 like chocolate and vanilla. What fr
alexandr402 [8]

Answer:

\frac{1}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given that 1/2 of the children at a party like chocolate ice cream, 2/3 like vanilla ice cream, and 1/3 like chocolate and vanilla.

To find the fraction of children, who like vanilla also like chocolate, We will divide the fraction of children who like chocolate and vanilla by the fraction of children who like vanilla.

\text{Fraction of those who like vanilla also like chocolate}=\frac{\frac{1}{3}}{\frac{2}{3}}

Since we know that dividing a fraction by another fraction is same as multiplying the first fraction by the reciprocal of second fraction.

\text{Fraction of those who like vanilla also like chocolate}=\frac{1}{3}\times\frac{3}{2}

After cancelling out 3 from numerator and denominator of our fraction, we will get,

\text{Fraction of those who like vanilla also like chocolate}=\frac{1}{2}

Therefore, the fraction of those who like vanilla also like chocolate is \frac{1}{2}.

Complemento de un ángulo de 80, -120, 400, 95,5 , -35,8 grados:(((
nordsb [41]

\mathfrak{\huge{\orange{\underline{\underline{AnSwEr:-}}}}}

Actually Welcome to the Concept of the Angles.

Complementary angles are those which add up to get 90° , hence here

1.) 90-80 = 10° , 10 is complement of 80

2.) 90-(-120) = 210 , hence 210° is complement of -120

3.) 90-400 => 360°

4.) 90-95 = -5°

5.) 90-5 => 85°

6.) 90-(-35) = 125°

7.) 90-8 = 72°

all are the complement angles above.
