Answer:

The length of WX is 31 units.(third option)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that In trapezoid WXYZ, WX║ZY and S and T are the mid points of the sides WZ and XY. We have to find the length of WX.

By trapezoid mid-segment Property,

A mid-segment of a trapezoid join the midpoints of the two non-parallel sides of trapezoid. The length of the mid-segment is the average of the lengths of the two bases and is parallel to the bases of the trapezoid.

∴ ST=\frac{WX+ZY}{2}

⇒ 48=\frac{WX+65}{2}

⇒ 96=WX+65

⇒ WX=96-65=31

The length of WX is 31 units.(third option)

#1).  The length of the whole circumference is (π · D) = 12π .

         120° is 1/3 of 360°, so arc-AB is 1/3 of the whole circumference.

#2).  60° is 1/6 of 360°.
         So arc-CD is 1/6 of the whole circumference (which is given).

#3).  The circumference of the circle is (π·D) = 20π .

         70° is (70°/360°) of the whole circle, so arc-XY
         is  (70/360) of the whole circumference.

#4).  Sorry, I don't remember anything right now about
         angles between chords.
         I hope what I've given you so far is worth 5 points.

Answer: The side length of the square-shaped park is 120 meters.

Here we know that:

Here we Ann has two plots of land, one square and other triangular.

We know that the triangular one has an area of 32,500 m^2

And we also know that the total area is equal to 76,600 m^2

Then the area of the square plot will be equal to the difference between the total area and the area of the triangular plot.

area of the square plot = 76,600 m^2 - 32,500 m^2

Now, also remember that for a square of side length x, the area is given by:

A = x^2

Replacing that in the above equation we get:

x^2 = 76,600 m^2 - 32,500 m^2

Now we want to solve this for x, the side length of the square-shaped park.

First, let's solve the difference in the right side:

x^2 = 44,100 m^2

Now we can apply the square root in both sides to get:

√x^2 = √(44,100 m^2)

x = 210 m

The side length of the square-shaped park is 120 meters.
