Given =

Two similar pyramid have base area of 12.2 cm² and 16 cm².

surface area of the larger pyramid = 56 cm²

find out the surface area of the smaller pyramid

To proof =

Let us assume that the surface  area of the smaller pyramid be x.

as surface area of the larger pyramid is 56 cm²

Two similar pyramid have base area of 12.2 cm² and 16 cm².

by using ratio and proportion

we have

ratio of the base area of the pyramids : ratio of the surface area  of the pyramids

\frac{12.2}{16} : \frac{x}{56}

x = 12.2 ×56×\frac{1}{16}

by solvingthe above terms

we get

x =42.7cm²

Hence the surface area of the smaller pyramid be 42.7cm²

Hence proved

Help me out pleaseeee
Kryger [21]

Answer:

The correct option is (b).

Step-by-step explanation:

The solution of the given polynomial is :

(-\dfrac{1}{3},4)

x = 1/3 and y = -4

i.e.

Sum of roots = (1/3-4) = -11/3

Product of roots = (1/3)(-4) = -4/3

The quadratic equation is as follows :

x^2+(\text{sum of roots})x+\text{Product of roots}=0

Put all the values,

x^2+\dfrac{-11}{3}x+\dfrac{-4}{3}=0\\\\3x^2-11x-4=0

So, the correct option is (b).

I am equation of the line that passes through the point (2,3) with slope 3 please answer
Alinara [238K]

\huge{\boxed{y-3=m(x-2)}}

Point-slope form is y-y_1=m(x-x_1), where m is the slope and (x_1, y_1) is a point on the line.

Substitute the values. \boxed{y-3=m(x-2)}

<em>Note: This is in point-slope form. Let me know if you need a different form. Also, if you have any more problems similar to this, I encourage you to try them on your own, and ask on here if you are having trouble.</em>
