Hi there! So, we know that the price of the camera is $84, and the carrying case is 12% of that price. Let's find the cost of the case. To find the cost of the carrying case, all you have to do is multiply the price of the camera by the percentage. 84 * 12% (0.12) is 10.08. The price of the carrying case is $10.08. Let's add that price to the price of the camera. 84 + 10.08 is 94.08. $94.08 is the purchase price, but we're not done. We must add the tax in to find the total price. We can add 100% to the tax rate of 6% to get 106% Adding 100% to the amount of tax helps us get straight to the total price. Multiply that by 94.08. 94.08 * 106% (1.06) is 99.7248 or 99.72 when rounded to the nearest hundredth. There. The total price of the purchase is $99.72.

Find the equation of the linear function represented by the table below in slope-intercept form.Answer: ?(Important: Please chec
Salsk061 [2.6K]

The Slope-Intercept form of the equation of the line is:

y=mx+b

Where "m" is the slope of the line and "b" is the y-intercept.

The slope can be found with:

m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

Choose two points from the table. These could be the points (1,-4) and (4,-19). You can set up that:

\begin{gathered} y_2=-19 \\ y_1=-4 \\ x_2=4 \\ x_1=1 \end{gathered}

Substituting values, you get that the slope of this line is:

m=\frac{-19-(-4)}{4-1}=-5

You can substitute the slope and the first point into the equation in Slope-Intercept form:

-4=1(-5)+b

Solve for "b":

\begin{gathered} -4+5=b \\ b=1 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the Equation of this line in Slope-Intercept form is:

y=-5x+1

Natali5045456 [20]
Part a:-
The base of each triangle is 4 inches long.
Their  height is 3/2 * 4 = 6 inches.

b
The combined  area of the triangular faces = 4 * 1/2 * 4 * 6 =  48 sq ins

c
Surface area of the pyramid =  48 + area of base = 48 + 16  = 64 sq ins.
