The strategy to reduce, reuse and recycle can help to mitigate the impact of marine debris. The garbage that reaches the ocean is produced by human beings.

If the garbage will be segregated before being going into the ocean then the substances that can be recycled, reduced and reused must be kept aside and recycled and must not be dumped in the ocean.

Feathering refers to the technique by which large flowers are cut into small pieces, which are then used to create smaller flowers.
