put all the combos together first like -3xy

then the x's like -x + 7x +2x=8x

then the y's

then the whole numbers

-3xy+8x (then the y's) then the whole numbers.

I am not sure how you are writing the numbers above like -x 4 is that -x to the 4th power?

x^4 then the x^3 and so forth then the y's then the whole numbers.

Always start adding the highest x power numbers first like x^4 + 2x^4=3x^4 then work your way down. Maybe rewrite the problem please.

Help please i don’t know how to do it
Norma-Jean [14]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{dy}{dx}=x^{2}(y-1)\\\frac{1}{y-1} \text{ } dy=x^{2} \text{ } dx\\\int \frac{1}{y-1} \text{ } dy=\int x^{2} \text{ } dx\\\ln|y-1|=\frac{x^{3}}{3}+C\\

From the initial condition,

\ln|3-1|=\frac{0^{3}}{3}+C\\\ln 2=C

So we have that \ln |y-1|=\frac{x^{3}}{3}+\ln 2\\e^{\frac{x^{3}}{3}+\ln 2}=y-1\\2e^{\frac{x^{3}}{3}}=y-1\\y=2e^{\frac{x^{3}}{3}}+1

Choose the equation you would use to find the altitude of the airplane. tan70 = 0 tan70 = sin70 =
KonstantinChe [14]
The situation is represented by a drawing with a right triangle where an airplane is at the top corner, the elevation angle (opposite to the airplane) is 70°, the height (vertical leg) is x, and the adjacent leg (horizontal leg) to the 70° angle is 800.

Then, to find the height x, which is the opposite leg to the angle,  you can use the tangent ratio, which is opposite leg divided by adjacent leg:

tan(x) = opposite leg / adjacent leg => tan(70°) = x / 800

Answer: tan(70°) = x / 800

The first step in the process for factoring the trinomial x2-3x - 40
Alexxx [7]
We need two numbers that when multiplied will give you -40 and when added will give you -3:
(x+5) (x-8) this is your answer. And you want to know the process Here it goes. And attached is a chart I made you so you can visually see what this process is telling you:
1) identify a,b, and c in the trinomial ax^2 + bx+c (in your case it's 1x^2-3x-40= x^2-3x-40)
2) write down all factor pairs of c (numbers that multiplied produce -40)
3) identify which factor pair from the previous step sums up to b
4) Substitute factor pairs into two binomials
