The expected value is given by:
E(x)= ∑x*p(x)
thus the expected value of calories will be given by:
E(x)=1/6*60+1/2*42+1/3*90
E(x)=10+21+30
E(x)=61

the answer is 61

Question 12.12. In 2010, the population of a city was 65,903. It was expected to grow at a rate of 0.7% each year.
postnew [5]

y=Ce^{kx}

k=0.7%=0.007

65903=Ce^{.007(0)} \\  65903=Ce^0 \\  65903=C(1) \\ C = 65903

y=65903e^{0.007(2027-2010)}\\y=65903e^0.229 \\ y = 74231.157

The best answer is 74,200

Help please I get y=mx+b but I'm not sure how to do this
Fofino [41]

(3,4)  (9,7)

to find the slope

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

  = (7-4)/(9-3)

3/6

1/2

The slope is 1/2

point slope form

y-y1 = m(x-x1)

y-4 = 1/2(x-3)

distribute

y-4 = 1/2x -3/2

add 4 to each side

y = 1/2 x -3/2 + 4

y = 1/2 x -3/2 + 8/2

y = 1/2 x + 5/2

this is in slope intercept form

How is the behavior of food coloring in the cool and
madreJ [45]

Answer:

Food color mixes faster in warm water than in cold water.

Molecules in a liquid have enough energy to move around and pass each other. This is why water can flow and take the shape of the container you pour it into.

Warm water has more heat energy than cold water, which makes the molecules in warm water move faster than molecules in cold water. The food coloring you add to the water is pushed around by the water molecules. Since the molecules in warm water move around faster, the food coloring spreads out quicker in the warm water than in the cold water.
