No, not always.

Yes in some cases, like 100 is greater than 0. But -100 is less than zero. So it depends on the number.

Answer:

No it is not, in most common number systems.

Step-by-step explanation:

Negative numbers can be far from 0 in magnitude, however, they are always smaller than 0 itself. The only common number system that has no negative numbers are the Natural numbers, so the Answer should be more precisely "No it is not, with the exception of Natural numbers." My assumption is that the question is posed in context of the most commonly used system of Real numbers and so the answer is negative.

Answer: The critical value of the test is 2.807.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

n = 24

So, the degree of freedom v = n-1 = 24 - 1=23

Since, n>30, so we will use 't-test'.

Here, α = 0.01

so, According to t-table, we get that

t_{\alpha ,v}=t_{0.01,23}=2.807

If we take α, then we are taking about two tail test.

If we take \dfrac{\alpha }{2} then we are talking about one tail test.

But in both the cases, the result will be same.

Hence, the critical value of the test is 2.807.

What is the inverse of the function f(x) = 2x + 1?
Mazyrski [523]

Answer:

The first choice hx = \frac{1}{2}x - \frac{1}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Inverse functions are when you switch the y and x

btw f(x) is the same as y

y = 2x + 1

becomes

x = 2y + 1

solve it :)

subtract 1 from both sides

x - 1 = 2y

divide 2 from both sides

\frac{x-1}{2}

same as

\frac{1}{2}x - \frac{1}{2}

so ya know it's the first choice
