This is an example of relearning, a means of retrieving information out of your long-term memory storage system

The relearning method involves the process of trying to regain activities or knowledge of materials that a person has learned and can no longer remember any more. Relearning is also known as the saving method, this method can be used to measure how quickly individuals can remember what they learned and forgotten.

Further Explanation

Relearning is one of the three ways that a person can retrieve information out of the long term memory system. It has to do with learning something that you have previously learned.

A perfect example of relearning is the picture painted in the given question. Kenethia is good at knitting and she stops doing it because of other engagement (school activities). Kenethia tries to go back to knitting after graduation but discovers she’s no better at it. Therefore, she needed to practices with a needle to master the act again.

This technique is called relearning and it is one of the ways a person can retrieve information from their memory.

Some other ways a person can retrieve information from long term memory include

 1. Recall
 2. Recognition

Therefore, this is an example of relearning, a means of retrieving information out of your long-term memory storage system

Which antidepressant class is most closely linked with anticholinergic side effects?
Damm [24]

Tricyclic antidepressant (TCAs) class is most closely linked with anticholinergic side effects.

Amitriptyline, amoxapine, clomipramine and protriptyline are Tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs) that are used to treat chronic pain. Amitriptyline and nortriptyline among these medications provide the most reassuring safety information during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

In vitro and in vivo, TCAs are powerful inhibitors of norepinephrine and/or serotonin reuptake. In addition, several TCAs are known to block sodium, calcium, alpha-1 adrenoceptors, histamine (H1) receptors, and muscarinic cholinergic receptors. Thought to be responsible for their unfavourable anticholinergic, antihistaminergic, and cardiotoxic side effects rather than their antidepressant effects, these neurotransmitter receptor actions.
