Answer:

480 Cubic inches

Step-by-step explanation:

Length:Breadth:Height = 5:4:3.

Let the Length of the Tin =5x

Breadth of the Tin =4x

Since the bottom area of the tin is 80 square inches.

5x \times 4x=80\\20x^2=80\\x^2=4\\x=2

Therefore:

Length of the Tin =5 X 2 =10 inches

Breadth of the Tin =4 X 2 =8 Inches

Height of the Tin =3 X 2=6 Inches

Volume of the Tin = Length X Breadth X Height

=10 X 8 X 6

=480 Cubic inches

astraxan [27]
Note that 0\le k\sin x\le k in the given closed interval, so the area is exactly given by the definite integral

\displaystyle\int_0^\pi k\sin x\,\mathrm dx

(no absolute values needed!)

Integrating gives

-k\cos x\bigg|_{x=0}^{x=\pi}=-k(\cos\pi-\cos0)=-k(-1-1)=2k

Which example below uses deductive reasoning?
rusak2 [61]
Deductive reasoning is one that necessarily follows, not one that likely follows (this would be an inductive reasoning).

Here the important information is that all squares are also parallellograms, which means that they also necesarily have all the properties of the parallelogram - the correct answer is D.
