Measurable goals allow you to judge your progress towards achieving them as well as to know for certain when you have done so. In psychological terms, measurable goals are more motivational than abstract goals
An example of a short-term goal would be, Improve in math and get a passing grade in the class.
Steps to reaching that goal are:
- Do math problems each day for at least 30 minutes.
- Ask the teacher for any help if needed.
- If feeling stressed out, take a small break and listen to music or anything really to lower stress.
- Stay back for tutoring sessions.
- On testing days, study for at least an hour.
