Together, teammates Pedro and Ricky got 2676 base hits last season. Pedro had 276 more hits than Ricky. How many hits did each
Alborosie
Let's use the variable r to represent ricky's base hits:
Ricky is r
Pedro is r + 276
So:
r + r + 276 = 2676
2r = 2400
r= 1200
Ricky hit 1200 base hits, and Pedro hit 1476 base hits.
