Make sure that in order to compare and rank them from least to greatest, you ned to first see that the denominator is the same.

1/8=3/24  5/6=20/24  3/8=9/24
1/8<3/8<5/6

Therefore, 5/6 is the greatest and also the farthest that Carlos ran.
