Answer:

Covalent bonds are the types of Bond which is formed by sharing of an electron between two atoms of same element or two different elements. The bond which is formed by the completely lost or gained of an atom is known as ionic bond.

Explanation:

The most common example of covalent bond is formed from carbon atom. The valence of carbon atom is 4. Therefore, it is very hard to gain or lose an electron from the carbon atom. Therefore, the carbon tends to share the electron instead of completely losing or gaining the electron.

Ionic bond is very common and it can be formed by many elements from the periodic table. Ionic bond is more stable and stronger when compared to the covalent bond in nature.

1.
I would say individual biodiversity. I have read that there are variations in genes so genetic variation is a biodiversity along with species diversity and ecosystem biodiversity. In fact, genetic diversity is similar to species diversity. Species have their own genetic variation.

2.
True. We are losing biodiversity at a higher rate than ever before.

During research with connected brain patients, researchers study __________, or left/right imbalances between cerebral hemispher
Goshia [24]

The correct answer is option A, that is, perceptual asymmetries.

Visual perception refers to the procedure of organizing and interpreting visual information. It incorporates the tendency to determine and recognize the distinguishing characteristics of visual images like size, shape, position, orientation, color, and others.

One of the most prominent features is the perceptual asymmetry or variability originating from the brain's perceptual responses to certain visual stimuli and/or to stimuli at the certain specific location of the retina. For example, vertical stimuli are represented and perceived better than oblique stimuli.

Thus, during research with connected brain patients, the researchers study perceptual asymmetry or left/right imbalances between the cerebral hemispheres in auditory or visual processing speed.
