How do I find reflect it? would I have to keep the points the same of would point B replace point A
2 answers:
Point A is at (-2, -2). When you reflect it over the x axis, the y coordinate flips from negative to positive. The x coordinate stays the same.
The reflection rule stated algebraically is , which means (x, y) turns into (x, -y)
So (-2, -2) becomes (-2, 2) after using that rule.
Repeat for points B through D
B is at (-2, -4) which moves to (-2, 4) C is at (-5, -4) which moves to (-5, 4) D is at (-5, -2) which moves to (-5, 2) Check out the diagram below.
Count from each point to the x-axis across and go back out the same number on the opposite side of the x-axis For instance from point d to the x axis is 2 so now start on the xaxis at -5,0 and go up 2 more so the new point for point D would be -5,2

Answer:
15, 17, 19
Step-by-step explanation:
x + x+2 + x+4 = 15 + (x+2 + x+4)
3x + 6 = 15 + 2x + 21
x = 15
x+2 = 17
x+4 = 19
