The u stands for uracil which is the replacement for thymine in RNA. Hope this help. ;)

mRNA does not have Thymine,T, instead has Uracil, U. Cytosine, C base pairs with Guanine, G and adenine, A base pairs with Uracil, U. Only in DNA adenine base pairs with uracil.  

Given the DNA sequence the mRNA sequence will be:

DNA: CGG TCG AGT GAT

RNA: GCC AGC UCA CUA
