Pretty sure it's x= -2. multiply everything by 3
then combine.

10= 6^x you can work it like a log and minus 10 from each side.

0= -4^x

so what raised to the power gives you -4? x=-2

Lunna [17]

Answer:

600

Step-by-step explanation:

Well, first you need to make a proportion which will be \frac{x}{6,000} = \frac{10}{100}

x is what we need to find

6,000 is the total people who voted

10% is the percent of 18 to 29 years old

and 100% represents the circle graph because all circle graphs equal 100%

First, we use the cross multiply method, for instance, 6,000×10=60,000

Next, divide 60,000÷100 which is 600.

Therefore there are 600, 18 to 29 year olds who voted in the election.

love history [14]

(x + y)² and z² + 4(1/2 xy) both represent the area of the outer square and are equal.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Step 1: The below reasons explain why the expression is a true equation.

1. The expression (x + y)² finds the area of the outer square by squaring its side length.

[In the figure, side length of the outer square = x + y and area of a square = (side length)²]

2. The expression z² + 4(1/2 xy) finds the area of the outer square by adding the area of the inner square and the four triangles.

[In the figure the length of the inner square is z, the triangles have a base x and height y and area of a triangle = 1/2 base × height]

⇒ So the left hand side and right hand side of the expression is equal.
