Answer: 88 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

A bicycle tire is 28 inches in diameter. approximately.

To find the distance traveled by the bicycle each time the wheel goes around we need to find the circumference of the tire.

The circumference of a circle: where d is the diameter of the circle.

Now, the circumference of the tire:

Hence, the distance traveled by the bicycle each time the wheel goes around =88 inches.

babunello [35]
Hi there! Interest on the first loan is 800×.075×2=120. The interest on the second loan is 138-120=18. Now, we have to use the simple interest formula. 18=P×.03×2=300. Therefore, the answer is $300.

Da
A
Solve the equation 2x^2+3=0
Anika [276]

Answer:

x = ±i(√6 / 2)

General Formulas and Concepts:

Pre-Algebra

  • Equality Properties

Algebra I

  • Solving quadratics

Algebra II

Imaginary root i

  • √-1 = i

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Define

Identify

2x² + 3 = 0

Step 2: Solve for x

  1. [Subtraction Property of Equality] Subtract 3 on both sides: 2x² = -3
  2. [Division Property of Equality] Divide 2 on both sides: x² = -3/2
  3. [Equality Property] Square root both sides: x = ±√(-3/2)
  4. Simplify: x = ±i(√6 / 2)
