Answer: -4.5n - 4

Calculation/Explanation:
Distribute;
9 + (0.5)(7n) + (0.5)(-26) + -8n
= 9 + 3.5n + -13 + -8n

Combine Like Terms:
= 9 + 3.5n + -13 + -8n
= (3.5n + -8n) + (9 + -13)

Multiply .5 by 7n and -26: 9+3.5n-13-8n. Combine like terms: -4-4.5n. You could also divide by -1: 4+4.5n. Im not sure what your teacher wants, but I believe 4+4.5n is the answer :)

Liono4ka [1.6K]

Answer: 348

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Total employees work = 725

Proportion of employees are post graduate = 52%

Proportion of employees are not post graduate = 100%-52% = 48%

The number of employees were not post graduate  = 48% of 725

= 0.48 x  725

= 348

Hence, the number of employees were not post graduate  = 348

\displaystyle\lim_{x\to\inty}(3x+1)^{4/x}=\lim_{x\to\infty}e^{\ln(3x+1)^{4/x}}=e^{\lim\limits_{x\to\infty}\ln(3x+1)^{4/x}}

\displaystyle\lim_{x\to\infty}\ln(3x+1)^{4/x}=\lim_{x\to\infty}\frac{4\ln(3x+1)}x\stackrel{\mathrm{LHR}}=\lim_{x\to\infty}\frac{4\frac3{3x+1}}1=\lim_{x\to\infty}\frac{12}{3x+1}=0

\implies\displaystyle\lim_{x\to\infty}(3x+1)^{4/x}=e^0=1
