Answer:

a. 1,000

b. 4.976 rounded its 5

c. 1.25 gallons

Step-by-step explanation:

a. V = B x W x H

25 x 8 x 5 = 1,000

b. V = H x \pi x radius squared

diameter = 16    radius = 1/2 the diameter       lets say \pi = 3.14

16/2=8     8 x 8 = 64     3.14 x 64 = 200.96

I forgot what its called but basically you do the equation backwards.    1,000 divided by 200.96 = 4.976

check your work:   4.976 x 200.96 = 999.9 which rounded is 1,000

4.976 rounded is 5

c. assuming the equation is 1ft times 3 = 7.5 gallons

then 7.5 gallons divided by 3 = 1ft     7.5 / 3 = 2.5     2.5 = 1ft

1ft = 12inches  12in/2=6in  that means  2.5/2 = 6in   or   1.25 gallons = 6in

assuming the equation is 1ft x3 = 7.5gallons  and that x is the variable

I don't quite understand what to do and need more conext

I hope this helps at least a small bit
