For all the technology coming out of China today, its rural community is still very primitive. Farmers in the Western World have found ways to scientifically improve their growing techniques. Crop rotations allow for nutrient rich plants to regenerate the soil every other year. Also letting a field go fallow one years allows for recovery of soil. There are many other ways the West is improving their crops and educating new farmers in agriculture science. However, southeast Asian farmers to do not have access to this technology or sometimes computers/internet. They are using the same techniques that they have for over a thousand years. Until education is available for them or they are taught different they will continue to use the same techniques taught by their father. Even to the detriment of their land.

mr_godi [17]
You cannot compute for the capital in excess of par since you don’t have the number of shares but let us assume there are 100,000 shares.

If the Company sell 100,000 shares of its common stock for $2 per share, and the par value of each share is $5, then the amount of the capital in excess of par is 100,000 shares x $3/share, = 300,000 and is recorded:

Cash 500,000

      Common stock ($2 x 100000) 200000

      Additional Paid-In Capital($3 x 100000) 300000

MaRussiya [10]

Answer:

In this case, the answer would be option D. or It can be a source of competitive advantage for a period of time.

Explanation:

  • In Production Economics, any organizational input in the production process can provide competitive advantage to any firm or company for a sustainable period of time only if it provides commercial or economic value to the firm or company,it is unique and it cannot be completely imitable or substituted through other equivalent resource/s by other market competitors.
  • Therefore,if any organization resource or input is easily imitated then it cannot ensure long term or sustainable competitive advantage for any firm or company in the market.
  • However,it can provide some temporary market advantage or competitive edge to any particular firm or company until the time it is fully imitated and implemented by its competitors or rivals.
