Hi

There are different ways in which Australian fire is affecting the region:

1: Direct effects:

Almost 18 million hectares of land has been completely destroyed due to fire in Australia from 2019-2020, it has destroyed over 5900 buildings and 2900 homes. Moreover, along with some human fatalities millions of animals have been killed due to fire.

2: Economic effects:

It is very clear that the fire has badly affected the economy of the country although accurate figures are being analyzed at the moment. Due to extended damage of infrastructure, farming and tourism structure is severely affected and number of tourists visiting the land is getting less. Many institutions and businesses are closed due to excessive pollution in air.

3: Environmental effects:

Initially fire caused the devastation if around 1 billion animals , however the number will continue to increase due to adverse effects of fire such as loss of food and habitat in coming weeks. The fire has caused the devastation of not only animals but many plants and trees which were a source of oxygen so there are major chances for abrupt increase in the temperature of Australia in the coming years which will lead to global warming.

Moreover, the biodiversity decline can also cause loss of some rare specie or even their extinction which ultimately may reduce the biodiversity of all over the world.

There are many other effects of Bushfires of Australia such as psychological and physical health of people living there who are living in an environment that is getting bad to breathe, however studies are being done to better analyse the situation and predict consequence in a more logical way.

Hope it helps!

These bats are very social bats and stay in huge colonies ranging from one hundred thousand to one million bats, both male and female included, and during migration their numbers are higher. Since they live in tight knit communities but are suspicious of outsiders, they are one of the most secretive specie of bat, preferring to keep their colonies and hide out. These bats can live over twenty years.

The largest danger and predator of straw-colored fruit bats are humans. In some areas, such as West Africa, straw-colored fruit bats are hunted and consumed for their meat because they are considered a delicacy.
