The label on the car's antifreeze container claims to protect the car between −30°C and 130°C. To covert Celsius temperature to
jonny [76]

Answer:

-22°F < x < 266°F.

Step-by-step explanation:

The question states the incorrect formula to convert the Celsius temperature (C) into the Fahrenheit temperature (F). The correct one is given by:

F = 9C/5 + 32.

The given temperature inequality in Celsius is:

-30°C < x < 130°C; where x is any number that satisfies the inequality.

To convert it into Fahrenheit, simply plug in the values in the above formula.

Lower Limit:

F = 9(-30)/5 + 32.

F = -54 + 32.

F = -22°F.

Upper Limit:

F = 9(130)/5 + 32.

F = 234 + 32.

F = 266°F.

Therefore, the inequality will be -22°F < x < 266°F!!!

this week maddie worked 2 1/2 hours on monday, 2 2/3 hours on tuesday and 3 1/4 hours on wednesday. how many more hours will mad
ddd [48]
For this you will have to know how to add fractions. First of all i like to add the whole numbers together first, so 2+2+3= 7. so now what you have to do is add the fractions together. so    2/3 + 1/4 + 1/2 = ?   you will have to find a common denominator for 3, 4, and 2; which is 12.  Multiply each fraction by the needed number to get each denominator to 12. so 2/3 will be multiplied by 4, 1/4 will be multiplied by 3, and 1/2 will be multiplied by 6. The new equation and answer will be:   8/12 + 3/12 + 6/12 = 17/12. 17/12 as a mixed fraction is 1 5/12. now we add 1 5/12 and 7 to equal 8 5/12.  and then you will have to subtract this from 10, using common denominators and such to get your final answer of  2 1/12.   (sorry for the long spiel on how to do this question)

ASAP Quadrilateral ABCD is similiar to quadrilateral EFGH. The lengths of the three longest sides in quadrilateral ABCD are 24 f
Nitella [24]

Answer:

D. 6 feet.

Step-by-step explanation:

The third longest side of ABCD is 12 feet long and the third longest side of EFGH is 18 feet long.

As they are similar the corresponding sides are in the same ratio so

12/18 =  x/9 where x is the 4th side of ABCD.

2/3 = x/9

3x = 18

x = 6 feet.
